I tutor children in grades K-3 who struggle to learn to read, using patience, encouragement, a dash of silliness, and a reading curriculum called Reading Simplified that helps kids crack the code that is the English language using a fun, unique set of phonics tools.

After a free consultation, during which I’ll chat with you and then with you and your child, we’ll talk about your child and what their needs and difficulties are, and I’ll answer any questions you have.

If you decide I’m a good match for your child, I’ll do a simple, effective assessment to determine your child’s letter sound knowledge, phonemic awareness, and reading level. With your permission, I’ll also talk to their teacher so that I have a good understanding of your child’s struggles.
