I am a former kindergarten teacher who quit working to stay home with my own children. I looked forward to teaching my children to read but my oldest has dyslexia. This was when I discovered that I did not actually know how to teach reading to struggling readers. My daughter is now grown and a good reader and I have obtained a master's degree in dyslexia. I love to watch struggling readers become confident.
